Horse Riding Simulator Design to Replicate Human Walking Gait for Hippotherapy in Cerebral Palsy Rehabilitation

Hippotherapy is a popular rehabilitation method for children with cerebral palsy (CP), which done by riding an actual horse or simulator (HRS) device. Riding real more expensive than using HRS device due to its high maintenance cost. However, most devices commonly sold in the market are designed as exercise devices, not devices. Most of them simulate horse’s walk, trot, canter, gallop gait at various speeds. aims improve walking ability CP patients. Therefore, should aim replicate healthy human, end goal hippotherapy. This problem motivates us design and build specialized replicating human that suitable hippotherapy, achievable simulating several adjustments.
